Accounts and consent

Every sender must have a Ghostr account with a real name and verified phone number, and must separately text GHOSTED to (470) 824-5317 from that number. Recipients do not need an account; they become eligible to receive by texting GHOSTED to the same number from the phone that will receive messages.

What we send

Ghostr relays low-volume, moderated personal messages from verified, enabled senders to opted-in phone numbers. Recipients do not see the sender’s identity, but Ghostr retains verified sender information for abuse prevention, enforcement, disputes, and valid legal requests.

Program information

STOP and HELP instructions are provided in the confirmation sent when a phone number opts in by texting GHOSTED to (470) 824-5317. Relay-message formatting will match the final carrier-approved campaign.

STOP and HELP

Text STOP to (470) 824-5317 to immediately disable receiving platform-wide for that number. If the number belongs to a sender account, it also disables sending. Text HELP to the same number for support information. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

Prohibited content

Threats, harassment, stalking, coercion, hate, sexual harassment, doxxing, impersonation, spam, unlawful content, and attempts to evade a block are prohibited. Messages are screened and rate-limited before delivery.
